Meanings represented in our logo
We celebrated our 100th anniversary in 2010.
On that occasion,we renewed our logo to make a fresh start toward the next centenary
【Concept】
The logo represents NIHON HANDA's presence as a Japanese company with a global mind that continues to draw on its one hundred year history
and tradition while advancing and expanding into the next one hundred year period.
【Explanation】
・The coloring
The company name "NIHON HANDA" incorporates our country name ("NIHON" means Japan). Thus, the color is a "Japan red" that evokes
the image of JAPAN. "Japan red" is associated with enthusiasm and passion.
The color shows our dedication towards product development and our spirit of rising to challenges in solving problems for customers.
On the other hand, the color of our products is "metal gray". This color is used as another base color. Associated with the image of calmness
and serious efforts, metal gray indicates that our products are of high quality.
The combinations of these two colors represent our attitude towards work:we think with cool heads and we act with devoted hearts.
・The design
Uppercase and lowercase characters are used for the notation. The lowercase characters have many curved lines, producing a gentle and friendly image.
The space between "Nihon" and "Handa" is eliminated to express "pasting", which is a function of our products.
Also, the two pasted words emphasize that "Nihon" and "Handa" are not two separate words, but instead unified as "NihonHanda".
The curved line linking the two "a" characters of "Handa" also represents "pasting".
The linkage of the two "a" characters also evokes an image of "A-class", that is to say, of high quality.
